Northern Bedford County School District

At the Northern Bedford County School Board Re-Organization Meeting Held on Thursday, December 5, 2025, we welcomed three new board members and one re-elected board member.  Randy Wiand, Board President, was re-elected to the board for a 4 year term beginning December 2025.  Chris Cronrath, was elected to the board for a 4 year term beginning December 2025. 

The board also had to appoint two vacant positions for 2 year terms to Deb Foor and Carol Hoover.  The 2025 election ballots were not correct and did not reflect the need for 4 positions.  Therefore, 2-2 year terms will be appointed until the 2027 Primary and General Elections.  In 2027, there will be 2-2 year terms on the ballot and 5- 4 year terms on the ballot. 

Thank you to the outgoing board members:  Ralph Scott, Mike Cottle and Jen McCoy who are going off the board in December 2025 as well as all of our current school board members:  Randy Wiand, President; John Eshelman, Vice President; Andrea Poteat, Treasurer; Steve Cottle, Kelly Steele; Jack Briggs; Chris Cronrath, Deb Foor, Carol Hoover for your dilligence and service to our school district and community.  We will get the board picture shown below updated in the next couple months.
